My Working Day

As a rule, my weekdays start when I hear my mother’s voice: “Darling, it’s time to get up”. I must say that I’m not an early-riser, so it takes me some minutes to return to reality after my night dreams. But after morning exercises and a cold wash I’m ready for a new day.

   It doesn’t take me long to get dressed, to brush my hair and to plait it. As soon as I have done that I usually have breakfast at about 9 o’clock. It may be porridge or mashed potatoes with some meat or fish and salad, and a cup of coffee with a sandwich.

   Then it is time for me to finish doing my lessons which I haven’t completed in the evening. After that I have a quick second breakfast not to be hungry at school, put on my school uniform, take my school bag and leave home at half past eleven. You know, I live rather far from school so it takes me half an hour to get there by tram. When I come to school at 12 o’clock, I have enough time to chat with my classmates and to get ready for the lessons.

   Our classes usually start at half past 12 and last till ten minutes past 5. I come back home after school at about 6 o’clock. I change my clothes, wash my hands and have dinner. Then at last after hard work at school I have a short rest and from 19. 30 to 20. 30 do my home tasks. I normally have supper with my family while watching my favourite soap opera on TV.

  Late in the evening I’m tired and sleepy. I take a warm shower and go to bed with a lot of impressions of the day.
