International Women's Day -The 8-th of March! 

   It's one of most important holidays in the world. This is an international holiday and a day off. Several nations celebrate this, but only a few acknowledge it as an official, non-working holiday .

   At this day all men traditionally congratulate their women (their mothers, wives, daughters, grandmothers, girl-friends, teachers...) with first spring flowers: pink, mimosa, and tulips, candy and cards with self-made short poems.

   Every Woman of any age has a present on this day, all women are honored! At this day women are surrounded with flowers, love, and poems.

   Women and women's organizations around the world mark Women's Day, and many countries have it for a national holiday.

   This date was introduced in1910 by the 2^nd International Conference of women-specialists at the proposal of Clara Tsetkin as the day of international solidarity of women in their struggle for economic, political, and social equality.

   Nowadays this date has lost its political meaning and became just the day when we congratulate and thank our women for everything they do for us at home and at work, say our good wishes, give them flowers and presents.
